Job description

Place of work: Al Ruwais (QATAR)

 

You will contribute to the training of young Qatari naval students by providing general, technical and academic navigation  instruction and support.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

- Conducting theoretical training in "deck" subjects: navigation, maneuvering, tactics, buoyancy

- Participate in the definition, development, validation and updating of educational tools

- Supervising students on the navigation simulator

- Supervising, accompanying, and evaluating trainees

- Participate in the drafting of reports

- Provide technical/operational support to the project/operations manager in his/her field of expertise with a view to improving the client's educational documentation.

- Ensure operational monitoring in its area of competence.

- Ensure the smooth running of courses and their scheduling

- Ensure the application of the company's quality and pedagogical processes.

Profile

Officer in the French Navy with a specialty (OCDQ)/NAUTI (LV/CC level), a senior naval officer OR specialist officer, you wish to join a recognized player in the defense sector. You have a minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in the "Navigation" specialty and in the command of small ships.

In addition to your technical skills, your pedagogical skills, your ability to analyze and synthesize, your interpersonal skills and your adaptability are essential assets in the accomplishment of your mission.

 

Fluent in English and good knowledge in usual IT tools is essential.

Driving license compulsory.
